- Henderson wanted by West Brom and Everton
- Pereira wanted by FC Porto and Benfica
- Johnstone wanted by Aston Villa, Leicester and Sunderland
Three Manchester United goalkeepers are attracting interest in the summer transfer window.
Dean Henderson, who lifted the U20 World Cup with England last weekend, is reportedly a target for West Bromwich Albion and Everton. He spent the first half of last season, up until the end of January, on loan at Grimsby Town, impressing with a number of cleansheets after making his debut on Boxing Day 2016.
According to the Daily Mirror, contract talks between Henderson and Man Utd have halted.
Meanwhile, Joel Pereira, at the U21 European Championships with Portugal currently, is attracting interest from clubs in his home country. FC Porto are interested in signing Pereira to replace Iker Casillas while Benfica want to add cover in the goalkeeping department after selling Ederson to Manchester City.
Pereira has been tipped for great things at United by José Mourinho, describing him as “the best Portuguese goalkeeper of his generation”.
He’s also been offered a £20,000-a-week contract at the club. A loan move is likely next year, though he would otherwise be United’s third-choice goalkeeper.
Finally, Sam Johnstone is set to leave the club. Aston Villa, Leicester City and Sunderland are interested.
