Birmingham snatched a late winner through Tyrell Hamilton in a friendly at St. Andrew’s Stadium on Saturday evening.

The home side took the lead through Tommy Anderson in the ninth minute.

Faustin Makela’s curling shot from outside the box bounced in off the post to equalise before half-time.

Anderson, though, netted a second after half-time.

A cross from Ethan Laird was headed home by centre-back Jimmy Garner in what seemed to be the equaliser but Tyrell Hamilton scored a late winner for Birmingham.

A number of the substitutes had played yesterday at stadium:MK in an academy challenge match against MK Dons. The under-15’s won 3-0 last night while Max Dunne and George Tanner had played for the under-18s on Saturday morning in a 5-2 win against Reading.
