After an early exit from the Gordon Jago Super Cup of the Dallas Cup, Man United’s under-19s, managed by Tommy Martin, played an extra friendly in the United States, against German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Max Johnstone played his first game of the tournament and saved a penalty while Callum Gribbin scored his second goal of the tournament, an excellent free-kick, to draw level with Matt Olosunde as top goalscorer for United in Dallas.
The draw on Friday means the Reds played four games, drew two and won/lost one. Martin’s squad scored six goals and conceded seven over the course of the four games.
